Kyra and Edwin are two artists who live in the desert and make their own rules. As such, they had so many fantastic ideas for their wedding and we were beyond excited to help make their dreams come to life. We served a fully custom family style catering menu and added in fun touches like hot tea and sake at the tables, as well as custom cocktails the bride and groom created themselves. Guests ate, drank, and danced all night in a beautiful, tropical disco! What could be better?

joel + bono

Talk about a fun, bespoke wedding! Joel & Bono were two of the most thoughtful, sweet, and creative grooms we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Right from the start, they knew exactly what they wanted — to take their friends and family on a tour through their lives together by way of amazing food and drinks that reflected their journey together. To that end, fundamental events fully customized their catered menu and their drinks, replicating their favorite cocktails from a bar in the Philippines, which where they met and fell in love. guided by an amazing planning team, fundamental events was able to bring all of their ideas to life through legos, pandas, modern art, and delicious foods inspired by their journey together. The grooms chose a family-style catering option for their dinner service, as it felt the most welcoming and best reflected their warm personalities. Guests spent the entire evening immersed in the lives and love of these two amazing grooms, and we were so proud to be a part of it!

CHAR + BRIAN

We were thrilled to be included in such a wonderfully eclectic and beautiful wedding. Char & Brian were a dream to work with from the beginning, and we really enjoyed making their dreams come true!  fundamental events loves customizing our catering menus and services, and this opportunity didn't disappoint. Our guests enjoyed a lovely evening of stationary and passed appetizers, and a plated and family-style dinner combo with custom craft cocktails.

susan + dustin

This one was a stunner! Thanks to one of the most amazing planners we know: Jason Rhee of RHEEFINED. Jason is exceptionally talented and always a pleasure to work with. He introduced us to this lovely couple, Susan & Dustin, who wanted something tailored to their personal tastes. They immediately fell in love with our catered cocktail program downtown, and wanted to do a next-level bar program with two of our signature drinks (Earl Grey goat milk washed scotch, honey, amaretto, peat + Carrot aquavit, yuzu, ginger, cardamom); both of them are gorgeous and delicious. fundamental events built out a 20 x 30 tent in the parking lot at south park center and fed 175 wedding guests 38 stories up in the air at the penthouse reception space; a fun challenge for sure! the family-style catered dinner included a spinach salad, crispy baby potatoes with brown butter caper sauce, short ribs, sea bass, and a rich wild mushroom and grilled asparagus gnocchi pasta.

We had the pleasure of collaborating with some stellar vendors to create an unforgettable wedding for Natalie and Nate. These incredible photos were taken by This Modern Romance.

Partnering with Orange Blossom Events on the planning and The Bloemist on table design/florals, our guests enjoyed tray-passed appetizers and a delicious plated dinner that included green goddess little gems, ginger braised lamb shoulder, and wild mushroom farotto.

We are beyond thrilled with the outcome and happy to share our collective efforts!
